High School Inc. (HSI) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is twofold: prepare high school students for the workforce of tomorrow, and support local businesses with a future workforce.

In partnership with the Santa Ana school district and the Chamber of Commerce, HSI bridges the gap between education and business through innovative academic enrichment courses. These courses are built with C-H-A-N-G-E in mind: Culinary Arts & Hospitality; Healthcare; Automotive, Transportation & Logistics; New Media; Global Business; and Engineering. Mentors from local businesses work with students to prepare them for rewarding careers in Orange County and beyond, whether they decide to attend college or start a career straight out of high school.

HSI relies on donations from community partners to build programs that empower youth to believe that all things are possible. But their website was clunky and hard to navigate. Potential donors needed to better understand the overall mission and see how donation dollars were being used. HSI needed a partner who could understand their vision, create an inspiring brand, and help increase the organization’s impact through a revamped website with clear messaging and an engaging digital experience.

Joybyte’s brand experts got to work giving HSI’s brand a modern refresh, including a new logo, branding, color palette and marketing collateral. We also built a fun and interactive website that gives donors, visitors and prospective students an inside look into what HSI is all about. The refreshed brand, messaging and website positions HSI as leading collaborators and trusted advisors on the opportunity for change in the education industry.

updated brand identity & collateral

Joybyte updated the HSI logo and color palette to bring a new sense of identity to the brand and position HSI as innovators on the cutting edge of modern education solutions.

We created a new logo mark: The Tree represents: the gifts it offers freely to aid and shelter those around it; the fruits of knowledge it produces; the roots of community supplying it with life; and the branches of support it provides to the different directions it chooses to grow.

Joybyte also provided the HSI team with a suite of new marketing collateral to bring the refreshed brand to life: brochures, signs, banners, t-shirts, business cards and more.

revamped website

The new HSI website delivers a rich multimedia experience to bring the organization’s programs to life. It includes an upgraded donor portal that provides community partners with various donation and sponsorship options and offers transparency into how the funds will be used.

Using the new donor portal, the HSI team raised $30,000 for students and their families who were struggling to receive basic necessities in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

social media marketing

With a new digital foundation established, HSI was positioned for proactive digital marketing. We brought in our social media pros to create a social media marketing strategy that would successfully get the organization in front of more potential donors, sponsors, students and mentors.

The Joybyte team created a strategy to showcase the heroes of HSI. Our goals are to bring awareness to the great things HSI is doing and use colorful and fun graphics to attract new students and appeal to younger professionals who may want to take part in HSI’s mentorship program.
